Eastern National is looking for a Retail Sales Associate who possesses a strong commitment to excellence in service to assist our retail locations within the National Capital area.

This is a full-time, year-round role with an hourly wage starting at $17.75. The ideal candidate should be available to work on weekends and holidays.

As a representative of Eastern National, you will play a vital role in promoting the mission of America's National Parks. Our organization is dedicated to providing enriching educational experiences to visitors through our retail operations, interpretive services, and unique publications.

The Retail Sales Associate will ensure an outstanding visitor experience through friendly and professional customer interactions, while effectively communicating current promotions and showcasing exceptional service skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Guiding visitors in product selection and suggesting complementary items.
  2. Managing the cash register, ensuring accurate transaction processing and record-keeping.
  3. Providing informative park details to guests.
  4. Maintaining a safe, organized, and visually appealing store environment in alignment with our mission.
  5. Restocking merchandise and assisting in visual merchandising efforts.
  6. Participating in inventory management and conducting counts as directed.
  7. Possibly opening and closing the store independently.
