America's National Parks, in collaboration with the National Park Service, is on the lookout for a Retail Associate who embodies a strong work ethic to assist in our retail operations at National Capital sites.

This is a full-time, hourly position with a starting wage of $17.75 per hour. The ideal candidate must be available to work weekends and holidays.

As a representative of America's National Parks, you will play a crucial role in promoting our mission. We are committed to providing enriching educational experiences to visitors through our retail stores, interpretive services, and specialized publications. Our employees will engage with visitors to share insights about the partnership between America's National Parks and the National Park Service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist customers in selecting products and suggest complementary items.
  2. Manage cash register operations, ensuring accurate financial records.
  3. Provide informative guidance to park visitors.
  4. Maintain a clean and inviting store atmosphere that aligns with our mission.
  5. Restock merchandise while adhering to visual merchandising standards and assist in creating appealing displays.
  6. Participate in inventory management and conduct counts as instructed by management.
  7. May independently handle store opening and closing procedures.
