Job Summary
The Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Front Office, ensuring that all systems, standards, and controls are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Train and develop Front Office staff to ensure they meet Omni Standards.
- Manage the Front Office and Guest Services staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Communicate effectively with department managers, including Night Audit, to ensure seamless operations.
- Handle guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a satisfactory resolution.
- Be proficient in the hotel's computer system, providing training, maintenance, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Conduct weekly supply inventories to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Prepare and review rate discrepancy reports, making necessary adjustments.
- Block and assign arrivals for the following day, including VIPs, ESPs, and special requests.
- Prepare group information sheets and complete check-out with balance reports.
- Conduct daily credit checks and adhere to all Systems & Controls of the Front Office.
- Stay up-to-date on Marketing Programs and ensure knowledge is shared with the team.
- Work closely with the Loyalty Ambassador to track and service select guests.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is required.
- Previous luxury hotel experience is preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for the entire scheduled shift.
- Excellent customer service skills, ability to multi-task, detail-oriented, and strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Property Management Systems and related computer programs.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Software.
