Job Description

Acumatica is a pioneering company in the cloud ERP industry, serving customers worldwide. Our mission is to empower small and mid-sized businesses to thrive in the digital economy.

We're looking for a visionary and dynamic VP of Product Strategy to join our team. This role reports to our Chief Product Officer and is responsible for setting the strategic direction of our product, ensuring it meets market needs and exceeds customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and Implement Product Strategy: Align product strategy with company vision and goals, ensuring our offerings meet market needs and exceed customer expectations.
  • Market Sizing and Analysis: Lead market sizing and analysis efforts to inform product development and ensure our offerings remain competitive.
  • Product Management Leadership: Lead the product management team to deliver innovative and competitive products that meet customer needs.
  • Product Market Positioning: Champion product market positioning and work closely with marketing and sales channels on product messaging execution.
  • Acquisitions and Mergers: Lead planning and execution of product-related acquisitions and mergers to drive growth and innovation.
  • Product Roadmap Development: Collaborate with the office of the CTO to develop and drive the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals and market trends.
  • Culture of Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation and market-centric thinking across the company, encouraging experimentation and learning.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a VP role with a business software solution company delivering SaaS offerings.
  • Business Development: Strong business development experience, solid understanding of the market and competitive landscape.
  • Partnerships and Mergers: Experience in partnerships and mergers & acquisitions, with a strong track record of driving growth and innovation.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, driving results and achieving goals.
  • SaaS Business Model: Deep understanding of the SaaS business model and market dynamics, with a proven ability to drive growth and innovation.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and drive results.
