Job Title: Retail Operations Leader

Business: Convenience Store Operations & Fuel Services

Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 Annually ***Bonus Eligible***

Summary:

We are in search of dynamic individuals with a solid background in Management and Leadership within the Retail/Convenience sector. The ideal candidate will possess experience in managing high-volume operations and demonstrate outstanding communication abilities. Preference will be given to those with a background in convenience store management. The Retail Operations Leader will receive a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $80,000, along with a Bonus Plan designed to mirror ownership incentives. PMG offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes Health and 401K options, along with potential relocation assistance.

Job Responsibilities:

The Retail Operations Leader will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the stores, guiding the management and associate teams to align with PMG's values, objectives, and operational standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maximizing store profitability through effective Team Development, Operational Excellence, and Sales Enhancement.
  • Ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Addressing customer and associate concerns in a timely manner.
  • Implementing sales strategies and business processes to drive revenue growth.
  • Reviewing financial statements to maintain store profitability.
  • Supervising daily operations and performance of associates and managers.
  • Managing daily paperwork, cash handling, and other operational processes accurately.
  • Efficiently managing labor and team schedules.
  • Building relationships with community partners.
  • Analyzing store performance trends and executing action plans for improvement.
  • Monitoring local competition to ensure operational excellence.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree in Business preferred.
  • Experience in team leadership and performance management.
  • Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong Leadership and Customer Service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Goal-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 35 lbs.
