Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Petroleum Marketing Group. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing store operations, and maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  • Store Operations: Operate cash registers, process transactions, and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
  • Merchandising and Stocking: Maintain a visually appealing store environment by stocking shelves, facing merchandise, and rotating stock.
  • Food Service Management: Prepare and serve food and beverages, maintain a clean and safe food preparation area, and follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
  • Vendor Management: Receive and inspect merchandise, verify inventory counts, and communicate with vendors regarding any issues or concerns.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with management and team members, provide feedback and suggestions for improving store operations, and work collaboratively to achieve team goals.
Requirements
  • Reliable Transportation: Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Flexible Availability: Be available to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, management, and team members.
  • Goal-Oriented and Organized: Be a self-motivated and organized individual with a strong work ethic and a desire to achieve sales and customer service goals.
  • Ability to Lift/Carry Up to 35 lbs: Possess the physical ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise and equipment as needed.
