Job Title: Preschool Administrative Assistant

About Us:

Beth El Early Childhood Center is a small, Jewish preschool in North Central Phoenix. We are a warm and caring school community that is friendly and inclusive to all families with children aged 6 weeks through Pre-Kindergarten.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Preschool Director to implement record-keeping systems and enforce policies required by Beth El and other regulatory agencies.
  • Support the teachers and staff administratively with document creation, editing, and distribution.
  • Build and maintain relationships with parents and students to facilitate a welcoming school environment.
  • Marketing - create flyers, email announcements, parent communications, social media posts, website listings, and other marketing tools as needed.
  • Create office systems to keep track of records, registrations, and petty cash.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Tech-savvy with experience or ability to learn social media, ShulCloud, Canva, Microsoft Office, and Remini.
  • Great people skills with ability to build community, anticipate others' needs, and work well in a team.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Organized with keen eye for details.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position working following the preschool and synagogue calendar. Salary depends on experience.
