The Relationship Specialist is part of a highly skilled service team, dedicated to unlocking the potential of individuals and families. This role works collaboratively with Chartway team members to create personal experiences and provide financial solutions for our members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops and builds relationships with Chartway's member base through proactive outreach and follow-up.
  • Creates an environment of exceptional member service that provides sound financial wellness and consultative advice.
  • Collaborates and communicates with the branch team and other departments to successfully find solutions for members.
  • Transitions between job functions and responsibilities within the branch to effectively respond to members' needs.
  • Represents Chartway positively in the community.
  • Efficiently and accurately performs member transactions and assists with new account establishment, personal financing, real estate lending, investment referrals, and small business deposit products.
  • Accountable for branch operations, compliance, best practices, and federal regulations.
Requirements:
  • Ability to develop strong relationships in a warm and professional manner.
  • Proficient oral, written, and communication skills.
  • Responds to challenging situations and maintains control.
  • Demonstrated sense of ownership and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge and embodiment of diversity and inclusion best practices.
  • Willingness to take on new challenges in a dynamic environment and work under pressure.
  • Fundamental analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic experience with MS Office - PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Able to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of credit union policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Ability to recognize suspicious activities or transactions and notify management as required.
Education and Experience:
  • Education: Associate's or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1-3 years' experience in providing top-notch customer service, imaginative problem resolution, and relationship building.
