Job Title: Wealth Advisor

At Old Point, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wealth Advisor to join our team. As a Wealth Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service, building strong relationships, and delivering tailored financial solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively solicit new and existing investment, insurance, annuity, and income solutions from affluent clients and their families.
  • Profile prospects and clients to deliver a diversified set of brokerage, investment, and insurance solutions to meet individualized investment needs.
  • Regularly review client accounts and financial plans to identify life or economic changes that may necessitate changes in those client plans.
  • Leverage internal and external referral sources to increase client book and assets under advisement and/or management.
  • Meet or exceed established sales goals while meeting individual client needs and complying with pertinent policies and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Broad-based technical knowledge of investments, markets, the economy, and high net worth portfolio management.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of MS Office with the ability to learn other job-specific software applications.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to distill and convey information in a compelling manner.
  • Skill in adopting technological advancements and facilitating their integration into current and future responsibilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively, and have positive relationships with customers.
