Role Impact: The Territory Manager - Santa Monica position is pivotal in making a significant impact:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and surpass corporate sales targets within the designated territory.
  • Cultivate and sustain robust working relationships with targeted Eye Care Professionals (ECPs), effectively embodying the vision and culture of Oyster Point within the Eye Care community.
  • Leverage expertise in disease state knowledge, market dynamics, and industry trends to effectively manage and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Deliver MLR-approved, education-focused, and patient-centric communications, along with relevant disease-state information to targeted ECP accounts.
  • Meet business objectives on a quarterly and annual basis while driving territory performance in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to ensure a positive experience for targeted Eye Care accounts and their patients.
  • Exemplify company culture norms through customer interactions, teamwork with internal partners, and a commitment to supporting colleagues across the organization.
  • Utilize territory business planning tools effectively to identify additional business opportunities.
  • Manage and deploy approved resources efficiently to maximize potential and growth opportunities.
  • Adhere to all legal, regulatory, and compliance policies while maintaining a high level of integrity and professionalism.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as necessary. Overnight travel may be required depending on the territory.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical, medical, or related sales with a proven track record in technical knowledge, selling techniques, and a comprehensive understanding of medical terminology.
  • Experience in eye care is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal partners to create educational experiences for targeted Eye Care accounts.
  • Work closely with field leadership and internal partners to provide customer insights and feedback on strategic initiatives.
  • Must meet all access requirements for target offices and healthcare facilities within the assigned territory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, applicable CRM systems, and similar databases is essential.
  • Proficiency in English, including speaking, comprehension, reading, and writing, is required.

Compensation: Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is $98,000 - $147,941.
