Eastern Sports Management is currently seeking applications for the position of Guest Services Associate at our premier sports facility. The Guest Services Associate serves as the initial point of contact for visitors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and delivering exceptional service. This role involves addressing a range of inquiries from guests regarding available services and activities, including membership options, leagues, events, and other offerings at the facility. Additionally, the Guest Services Associate is responsible for conducting property tours and upholding the facility's rules and regulations. This position reports directly to the Membership Director, Business Development Director, or Assistant General Manager, depending on the organizational structure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Welcome guests and provide comprehensive information about services and activities available.
  • Deliver friendly and courteous service to all visitors.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints, with or without supervisory assistance.
  • Facilitate the registration process for various services and activities.
  • Process payments in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain a cash drawer following standard operating procedures.
  • Complete shift reports as required.
  • Ensure all necessary waivers for participation in activities are completed and filed.
  • Utilize front desk technology, including multi-line phone systems and barcode scanners.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisory personnel or management.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding guest information.
  • Exhibit strong verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in appearance and interactions.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Stay composed and professional during emergency situations.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • No prior experience is required; however, guest-facing experience is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Basic mathematical skills for payment calculations.
  • Proficient in using a windows-based workstation and associated equipment.
