Position Overview:
The primary objective of this role is to enhance the personal appearance of residents through various external beautification methods, including hair, nail, and skin care.

Authority and Responsibilities:
As a Beauty Services Specialist, you will be entrusted with the authority and responsibility to execute your assigned tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform hair cutting, coloring, and styling to improve clients' appearance
  • Administer skin care, nail care, and hair removal treatments within your licensure
  • Provide makeup application, nail art, and personal styling services as permitted
  • Conduct manicures and pedicures
  • Facilitate facial treatments and massages
  • Manage appointment scheduling and cancellations
  • Assist in the reception area
  • Engage with clients to provide advice and support

Qualifications:
  • Valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations
  • Experience in the field as mandated by state guidelines

Essential Skills:
  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
  • Ability to provide age-appropriate care for residents
  • Capable of making independent decisions when necessary
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with residents, families, and staff
