Position Overview

NXP Semiconductors N.V. is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Account Manager to oversee our mass market operations in Southern California. This role is pivotal in managing customer relationships and driving growth across various sectors, including smart home, industrial, consumer, automotive, retail, and medical.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Ownership: Take full responsibility for a designated geographic area, ensuring all mass market clients are effectively supported.
  • Customer Engagement: Collaborate with distribution partners to identify new projects, propose innovative solutions using NXP's extensive product range, and facilitate negotiations that yield mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Strategic Development: Formulate a detailed account strategy to maintain regular communication with key decision-makers, ensuring a deep understanding of their priorities and technological requirements.
  • Internal Collaboration: Drive communication between customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment and responsiveness to customer needs.
  • Performance Management: Partner with local distribution branches to engage end-customers, focusing on achieving sales growth and securing new design wins.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Science or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in semiconductor sales or field applications engineering.
  • Strong technical acumen and the ability to adapt to rapidly evolving technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven organizational and time management abilities.
  • A collaborative spirit and a willingness to support team initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and a self-motivated attitude.
Additional Information

This position requires regular travel, including driving to various locations for meetings and customer interactions. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
