Job Overview

This role will be responsible for driving sales and account management with key US accounts and assigned general US & International markets. The successful candidate will have a strong ability to develop relationships with accounts and solicit orders through cold calls, canvassing, lead follow-up, networking, travel, and facilitation through distribution partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Develop strong relationships with accounts and solicit orders through various channels, including cold calls, canvassing, lead follow-up, and networking.
  • Manage External Distribution Partnerships: Support and manage external distribution partnerships through frequent communication, facilitation of product and/or service training, joint sales calls, and developing alignment to business objectives.
  • Expand Existing Relationships: Expand existing relationships with focus market segments within the area and liaise with regional franchisee and corporate personnel on engineering, product development, purchasing, and operational initiatives.
  • Provide Product and Operational Recommendations: Develop product and operational recommendations to prospective customers, supported by heightened knowledge of pricing, performance, and operational benefits of Winston equipment over competitors.
  • Train and Demonstrate Products: Responsible for the training and demonstration of Winston products in seminars, open houses, etc., by coordinating partnership support and/or directly completing tasks.
  • Develop Marketing and Sales Strategies: Assist in developing marketing and sales strategies for all identified accounts to increase sales, profitability, and market saturation.
  • Utilize CRM for Sales Activity: Utilize identified electronic methods (CRM) for measuring, monitoring, and managing sales activity against goals.
  • Meet Sales Goals and Budgetary Compliance: Successfully achieve sales goals, while meeting budgetary compliance for sales.
  • Complete Reports and Administrative Duties: Complete applicable reports against sales objectives and maintaining compliance of other assigned administrative duties.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years' Experience in Foodservice Industry: Must have 5+ years' experience in the foodservice industry, with a strong background in sales, operations, or engineering.
  • Strong Ability to Utilize Technologies: Strong ability to utilize all applicable technologies, including Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, and other relevant software.
  • Experience with Oracle Database: Experience with Oracle database, PL/SQL Reporting Services, Oracle Discoverer, Oracle Form builder, MRP/ERP systems.
