About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant General Manager to join our team at Star Brands. As a Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional dining experience, and driving sales growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Restaurant Operations:
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, inventory, and supplies.
- Ensure that the restaurant is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Implement and maintain high standards of quality and service.
- Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of restaurant staff.
- Manage staff schedules, performance, and development.
- Ensure that staff are aware of and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Customer Service:
- Ensure that customers receive an exceptional dining experience.
- Respond to customer complaints and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor and improve customer satisfaction levels.
- Financial Management:
- Manage the restaurant's budget and financial performance.
- Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales and profitability.
- Marketing and Sales:
- Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to drive sales growth and profitability.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional campaigns.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure that the restaurant complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Identify and mitigate risks to the restaurant and its customers.
- Develop and implement procedures to prevent and respond to incidents.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
- Skills and Qualities:
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
