Director, Content Strategy + Production

This position requires a hybrid work model, necessitating some in-office presence for collaboration. Candidates should be located in the Truckee/Tahoe, CA or Reno, NV region.

Compensation: $115k-$135k

As the Director, Content Strategy + Production, you will play a pivotal role in amplifying our narrative through engaging multimedia content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the development of our multimedia content strategy, with a primary focus on video production, podcasts, and interactive media.
  • Overseeing the creation, production, and dissemination of high-quality video content, including long-form podcasts, short-form videos, product-centric content, customer testimonials, case studies, and thought leadership articles.
  • Managing our content calendar across all platforms to ensure a unified narrative that effectively communicates our value proposition through diverse media formats.
  • Supervising a talented team of content creators, including videographers, editors, writers, and designers.
  • Collaborating with various departments to produce compelling content that supports product launches, marketing campaigns, brand strategy, and other market initiatives.
  • Innovating and implementing creative methods to convey our story through multimedia channels, successfully reaching and engaging our target audience.

Qualifications:

  • A robust background in multimedia content leadership, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in content strategy, including at least 3 years in multimedia production and team management.
  • Expertise in multi-format storytelling, particularly in video production. You should be adept at crafting engaging narratives across various media, with a strong emphasis on video. Comfort in both directing shoots and conducting interviews is essential, along with proficiency in video editing.
  • A proven ability to enhance brand visibility through multimedia content. You should have a track record of producing compelling video content and SEO-optimized editorial pieces that achieve high rankings.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience in delivering impactful presentations to diverse audiences and coaching executives in effective brand messaging.
  • Aspiring to be an inspirational leader in the creative domain, with a passion for mentoring talent and fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth.
  • A well-established network within the multimedia industry, including connections with videographers, editors, writers, and industry experts for collaboration and partnerships.
