Director of Content Strategy + Production
This role requires a hybrid work model, necessitating some in-office presence. Candidates should be located in the Truckee/Tahoe, CA or Reno, NV region.
Compensation: $115k-$135k
As the Director of Content Strategy + Production, you will have the opportunity to enhance your creative impact and play a pivotal role in narrating our story through engaging multimedia content.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the development of our multimedia content strategy, focusing on video production, podcasts, and interactive media.
- Overseeing the creation, production, and dissemination of high-quality video content, which includes long-form podcasts, short-form video pieces, product-focused content, customer testimonials, case studies, and thought leadership articles.
- Managing our content calendar across various platforms to ensure a unified narrative that effectively communicates our value proposition through diverse media formats.
- Supervising a diverse team of content creators, including videographers, editors, writers, and designers.
- Collaborating with cross-departmental teams to produce compelling content that supports product launches, marketing strategies, brand initiatives, and other market activation efforts.
- Innovating and implementing creative ways to convey our story through multimedia channels, effectively reaching and engaging our target audience.
ABOUT YOU:
- You possess a substantial background in multimedia content leadership, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in content strategy, including at least 3 years in multimedia production and team management.
- You excel in storytelling across multiple formats, particularly in video production. You are adept at crafting engaging narratives and are comfortable both in front of and behind the camera, directing shoots and conducting interviews. Proficiency in video editing is a valuable asset.
- You have a proven ability to enhance brand visibility through multimedia content, demonstrated by a track record of producing compelling video content and SEO-optimized editorial pieces that perform well. You can balance the creation of searchable content with high-quality productions that resonate with both general audiences and industry experts.
- You are a confident communicator and presenter, experienced in delivering impactful presentations to varied audiences. You are skilled at coaching executives to effectively convey our brand message through diverse multimedia formats.
- You are an inspiring leader in the creative field, passionate about developing talent and dedicated to fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement in the dynamic landscape of multimedia production.
- You have a well-established network within the multimedia industry, bringing connections with videographers, editors, writers, and other professionals who can enhance our brand's multimedia content through collaborations and partnerships.
- You are a proactive innovator in content creation, always eager to explore new formats and production techniques. You actively seek and incorporate feedback to refine your work, contributing ideas for product development, marketing strategies, and brand growth through innovative multimedia approaches.
- You present a diverse portfolio of multimedia work, showcasing a broad range of content across various platforms and formats, including videos, articles, and other multimedia projects.
