Director, Content Strategy + Production
This role is designed as a hybrid position, requiring some in-office collaboration. Candidates should be located in the Truckee/Tahoe, CA or Reno, NV area.
Compensation: $115k-$135k
As the Director, Content Strategy + Production, you will have the opportunity to greatly enhance your creative impact and play a pivotal role in narrating our brand's story through engaging multimedia content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the development of our multimedia content strategy, with a strong focus on video production, podcasts, and interactive media.
- Overseeing the conceptualization, production, and dissemination of high-quality video content, which includes long-form podcasts, short-form video pieces, product-focused content, customer testimonials, case studies, and thought leadership articles.
- Managing our content calendar across all platforms to ensure a unified narrative that effectively communicates our value proposition through diverse media formats.
- Supervising a talented team of content creators, including videographers, editors, writers, and designers.
- Collaborating with various departments to produce compelling content that supports product launches, marketing campaigns, brand strategy, and other market initiatives.
- Innovating and implementing creative methods to narrate our story through multimedia channels, effectively reaching and engaging our target audience.
Qualifications:
- A strong background in multimedia content leadership, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in content strategy, including at least 3 years in multimedia production and team management.
- Expertise in multi-format storytelling, particularly in video production. Ability to craft engaging narratives across different media, with a focus on video. Comfort in both directing shoots and conducting interviews is essential.
- Proven ability to enhance brand visibility through multimedia content. Experience in creating impactful video content and SEO-optimized editorial that achieves high rankings.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience in delivering engaging presentations to diverse audiences.
- Aspiring leader in the creative field, dedicated to mentoring talent and fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
- A well-established network within the multimedia industry, with connections to videographers, editors, writers, and industry experts.
- A proactive approach to content creation, always exploring new formats and techniques while welcoming feedback for improvement.
- A diverse portfolio showcasing a range of multimedia work, including videos, articles, and other projects.
