Job Title: Senior Manager, Business Strategy

Job Summary:

Gilead Sciences is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Strategy to join our Clinical Trial Capabilities organization. This role will be responsible for driving strategic and operational process improvements and/or implementation of processes for Clinical Operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, process improvement, and clinical operations, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Project Manager, driving assigned initiatives/projects and working groups to achieve timelines
  • Work as an execution implementation lead, ensuring completed initiatives are adopted and embedded as ClinOps ways of working
  • Allocate to new/existing ClinOps and non-ClinOps led workstream/initiative to provide input and drive key processes from a ClinOps perspective
  • Report on study CRO/Vendor sourcing strategy and headcount resourcing
  • Review and recommend changes to Clinical Operations process management/improvement and associated procedural documentation in collaboration with business process owners, cross-functional stakeholders, and subject matter experts
  • Provide direction to study teams, business process owners, cross-functional stakeholders, and subject matter experts on initiative recommendations
  • Drive standardization and the adoption of best practices across the Clinical Operations organization

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience (Clinical Operations/project management, process improvement) with Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of relevant experience (Clinical Operations/project management, process improvement) with Master's degree
  • Experience working with one or more therapeutic areas (and managing clinical trials) in varying stages of drug development is a strong preference

Gilead Sciences offers a competitive salary range of $154,020.00 - $199,320.00, as well as a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
