Job Title: Senior Manager - Strategy

At Danaher Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager - Strategy to join our team. As a key member of our Strategic and Business Development Department, you will play a critical role in driving our company's growth and success.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in corporate strategy, business development, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in driving business growth, developing and executing strategic plans, and building strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive key workstreams contributing to IDT's strategic plan, assessing core and growth markets, and positioning IDT to win.
  • Coordinate on strategic planning activities with strategic plan workstream leaders, technical and operations stakeholders, and functions/centers of excellence across IDT and broader Danaher team.
  • Be a key contributor on evaluation of investments, proposals, opportunities, and decisions on IDT organizational initiatives, mergers & acquisitions, partnerships and alliances, license opportunities, and other business opportunities.
  • Drive strategic initiatives that improve IDT's capabilities and drive further clarity across commercial teams, R&D, innovation, and portfolio strategy beyond the annual strategic plan.
  • Refine IDT's approach in key areas across commercial, R&D, Innovation and portfolio strategy based on recommendations and information derived from the annual strategic planning process.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with 9+ years of experience OR Master's degree in a field with 7+ years of experience OR Doctoral degree in a field with 4+ years of experience.
  • Experience in corporate strategy, business development, or strategic marketing roles or management consulting.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and influence others to adopt a different point of view.
  • Extensive experience with communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate difficult concepts to stakeholders.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have the ability to travel frequently, with more than 20% domestic travel to other manufacturing locations. A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is also required. The position will require exerting up to 20lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 10lbs of force frequently.

Working Conditions:

The Senior Manager - Strategy will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to sit for extended periods, use fingers/feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motion. Previous experience in medical technologies, life sciences, or biopharma markets, specifically in genetics or genomics products and markets, is a plus.

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
