Job Overview

Position Summary

The Community Support Advocate within the Family Re-housing and Stabilization Program (FRSP) is essential in delivering comprehensive case management services to individuals impacted by domestic violence and related adversities. This full-time role, reporting to the Community Advocate Supervisor, is based in the District of Columbia and involves building relationships, crisis management, assisting clients in securing housing and vital services, and maintaining detailed records of case activities.

This position also requires the development of personalized service plans and financial budgets, conducting regular assessments, and making suitable referrals to meet clients' social, environmental, medical, and emotional needs. Active community engagement, organizing workshops, collaborating with local service providers, and participating in interdisciplinary team discussions are crucial aspects of this role. The position demands a high level of data entry accuracy and efficiency, playing a significant part in helping individuals and families attain stability and self-sufficiency.

This is a hybrid role, necessitating in-office presence at least 1-2 days per week, with the majority of time dedicated to in-person client visits throughout the D.M.V. area.
