Position Overview:
Identify and communicate the relevant 'Grainger Value Proposition' to each client, assessing how Grainger can enhance value and assist with their purchasing requirements.

Your Responsibilities:

Develop a territory strategy that optimizes travel routes, maximizes field time, and ensures the execution of a sales plan that meets performance benchmarks. Maintain account and customer interactions, documenting follow-up details in Grainger's CRM system.

Adopt a proactive stance to boost sales with each client, utilizing a variety of communication channels to maximize their purchasing through all of Grainger's sales and service avenues.

Respond promptly to customers' immediate needs. Increase revenue to meet established thresholds. Achieve or surpass shared metrics for daily calls and customer engagement minutes. Accurately report on the overall outcomes of customer interactions. Identify opportunities, negotiate sales, and manage requirements and costs.

Report to the Field Sales Manager.

Qualifications:
A minimum of 1 year of sales experience. High School Diploma or GED; a two or four-year degree is preferred. A valid driver's license is required. Willingness to travel and occasionally stay overnight (depending on territory).
