About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Installer/Trainer to join our team at Sorenson Communications. As an Installer/Trainer, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers have a seamless experience with our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and troubleshoot CaptionCall phones to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide comprehensive training to customers on the use of CaptionCall phones and their features, ensuring that they are comfortable and confident in using the technology.
  • Promote the CaptionCall service to customers, highlighting its benefits and value proposition.
  • Assist the Outreach Specialist with lead generation activities as needed, helping to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the business by providing insights and recommendations on how to expand our reach and services.
  • Meet or exceed Installer/Trainer expectations and maintain established goals set forth by department management.
  • Complete service calls as assigned, ensuring that customers receive timely and effective support.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, including service history and interactions.
  • Submit invoices and feedback on customer interactions, providing valuable insights for business improvement.
  • Retrieve and clean phones of former customers, ensuring that equipment is properly maintained and stored.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of equipment and supplies to service customers effectively.
  • Adapt to new responsibilities as necessary, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn and grow.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer knowledge and experience preferred.
  • Sales experience and knowledge of the hearing health industry an asset.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed, with a flexible schedule.
  • Ability to drive and travel via air as needed, with a valid driver's license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to tailor to unique customer needs.
  • Reliability, organization, and punctuality essential.
  • Ability to adapt to constantly changing environments and priorities.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Able to sit/stand for long periods in an office environment.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, tools, and to handle other computer components.
  • Regular and predictable attendance required.
