Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team in Philadelphia. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the preschool and K-12 education space, as well as managing and growing our existing client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities through targeted outreach and relationship-building
  • Manage and grow existing client relationships to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with our NYC Sales and Account Management team to align on outreach strategy and drive results
  • Execute outbound prospecting through a multi-channel approach, including cold calls, email sequences, LinkedIn, and client gifting
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, as well as the needs and challenges of our clients
  • Drive partner performance by managing day-to-day issues, advocating for the partner's best interests, and collaborating with the client to provide a dynamic enrichment program
  • Visit partner sites on a recurring cadence to understand gaps and maintain a strong relationship
Requirements
  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in B2B sales
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets or professional goals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively
  • Ability to work independently with high productivity, with a strong sense of initiative and self-motivation
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a willingness to take calculated risks and adapt to changing circumstances
