Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team at SMS. As an Outside Sales Professional, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with small to medium-sized businesses in the Philadelphia area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing for daily sales appointments and conducting face-to-face meetings with business owners and decision-makers.
  • Directing sales efforts to secure Business Analysts Survey Agreements and driving business growth.
  • Collaborating with the Business Coordinator to share feedback and new business lead opportunities.
  • Reviewing daily successes and challenges with the Sales Manager and receiving sales support as needed.

Requirements:

  • At least three years of business ownership experience and/or three years of direct sales experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but relevant experience is considered over a degree.
  • Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Outgoing personality with expertise in developing relationships, particularly with business owners and executives.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to uncover client pain points.
  • Ability to begin work immediately.
