Job Summary

The Medical Care Supervisor at Texas Orthopedic Hospital is a vital role that requires exceptional leadership and clinical skills. As a seasoned registered nurse, you will oversee the case management team, ensuring seamless coordination of patient care from admission to discharge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise case management staff in delivering high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans
  • Monitor hospital utilization of resources and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community resources and social services
  • Conduct concurrent reviews and appeals of Medicare/Medicaid and managed care denials

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • 1+ year of experience in case management or related field
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
  • Registered Social Worker (RSW), Registered Nurse (RN), or Certified Care Manager (CMC) certification

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $93,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and education assistance programs.
