About Our Hospital

Texas Orthopedic Hospital was established in 1995 with the goal of providing cost-effective, streamlined care for orthopedic patients. As one of the only specialty hospitals in the country focusing solely on orthopedics, we pride ourselves on offering a comprehensive range of services within a single building. Our hospital is partially physician-owned and partners with Fondren Orthopedic Group, L.L.P., the largest association of private orthopedic surgeons in the Houston area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures
  • Review and complete necessary paperwork for each patient
  • Transport patients to and from their rooms and ER
  • Monitor equipment for mechanical safety
  • Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program for Technologists
  • Current licensure or permit in the State of Texas (TDH)
  • CT registry preferred
  • MRI registry required within 6 months from date of hire for eligible candidates
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a hospital-imaging department
