Position Overview

The AristoMedia Group is on the lookout for a Media Relations Strategist within our entertainment PR division, AristoPR.

This role requires a proactive leader who thrives in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent verbal and written communication capabilities. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulating and executing comprehensive publicity strategies for various clients and events.
  • Designing and overseeing public relations plans, including budget management and timeline adherence.
  • Coordinating client PR initiatives and activities effectively.
  • Leading the organization's public relations team and supervising overall PR efforts.
  • Crafting communications, pitches, and appropriate responses.
  • Collaborating with clients to identify their objectives and requirements.
  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with a diverse range of media professionals.
  • Evaluating media coverage for clients.
  • Representing the organization at media events, interviews, and promotional activities.
  • Creating and implementing publicity strategies for the company's various divisions and services, including crisis management protocols.

Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, or Journalism is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in public relations, including promotional planning and execution.

  • Experience in launching PR campaigns and securing media coverage across diverse outlets is preferred.
  • A background in social media management is advantageous.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Outstanding verbal and nonverbal communication skills are required.
  • Exceptional writing and proofreading skills (AP-style) with a keen eye for detail are necessary.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines is essential.
  • Independent and strategic thinking, along with strong teamwork capabilities, are crucial.
  • Proven ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with media representatives is important. Familiarity with the music industry and established contacts in the press is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using Apple products, Microsoft Office, Gmail, CisionPoint, MyEmma, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram is required.
