Position Overview

We are seeking a contract hybrid role for a Communications and Public Relations Lead at R Public Relations Firm. This position entails overseeing press communications, media engagement, and strategic messaging. The role offers flexibility for remote work.

  • Possess prior agency experience, preferably within the Nashville area.
  • Showcase knowledge of public relations strategies and the local market landscape.
  • Engage with clients and contribute to business development initiatives.
  • Exhibit a passion for writing, strategic thinking, and proficiency in press communications, media relations, and public relations practices.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and strategic messaging skills.
  • Possess strong writing and editing capabilities.
  • Have experience in designing and implementing public relations campaigns.
  • Understand digital marketing and social media platforms.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media representatives.
  • Handle crisis and reputation management effectively, willing to support clients as needed.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field with a minimum of four years of experience.
