Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Commercial Lines Account Manager to become a vital part of our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with a dynamic and results-driven group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and servicing all aspects of our commercial insurance clients' requirements. This position demands an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, adept at juggling multiple priorities while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing a portfolio of commercial accounts, ensuring that all client service expectations are met and surpassed.
2. Building and nurturing strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and insurance requirements.
3. Collaborating with the sales team to facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new clients.
4. Reviewing and assessing clients' current insurance coverage and providing tailored recommendations for enhancements.
5. Managing the renewal process for all assigned clients, including preparing renewal proposals and negotiating optimal terms with carriers.
6. Addressing client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
7. Working closely with underwriters and adjusters to manage claims and address risk management concerns.
8. Keeping abreast of industry trends, regulations, and products to offer the best advice and service to clients.
Qualifications:
To qualify for the role of Commercial Lines Account Manager, candidates should possess:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial insurance and account management.
2. A proven history of delivering outstanding customer service.
3. In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products and risk management strategies.
4. Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
5. Capability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a high-pressure environment.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. An insurance designation such as CIC, CRM, or CPCU is preferred.
