The Senior Vice President of Operations will be accountable for all operational functions within the communities managed by Validus Senior Living in their designated region. Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving revenue growth and managing expenses effectively.
  • Overseeing the actions of facility personnel and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Facilitating communication with the managing organization on pertinent matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Executive Directors in managing service initiatives to achieve revenue targets on a monthly basis.
  • Control labor and other controllable expenses to meet Net Operating Income (NOI) objectives.
  • Ensure timely completion and submission of all required reports to the managing organization and relevant oversight agencies.
  • Support Executive Directors in training efforts mandated by the managing organization and regulatory bodies.
  • Promote a safe working environment free from hazards and harassment.
  • Address personnel matters to ensure compliance with management standards.
  • Oversee departmental operations to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Ensure timely performance evaluations for all employees, focusing on growth and improvement.
  • Respond promptly to all complaints from residents, families, employees, and regulatory bodies, fostering open communication.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Ensure that all employees adhere to safety protocols and address unsafe behaviors appropriately.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field.
  • Demonstrated management experience with a proven ability to lead staff.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in the Senior Housing sector in a supervisory capacity.
  • Possession of or willingness to obtain relevant licensure.
