This position is hosted by Jobot. We are looking for a talented and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to enhance our dynamic team. This role is primarily remote with minimal in-office requirements.
Compensation:
Salary range: $70,000 - $100,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of commercial accounts, ensuring client needs are met effectively.
- Facilitate the renewal and sale of insurance policies, negotiating favorable terms with clients and carriers.
- Develop and execute strategies to retain existing clients while identifying growth opportunities.
- Assess clients' risks and insurance requirements, recommending suitable coverage options.
- Collaborate with underwriters to create and present detailed proposals and cost assessments.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure high satisfaction and retention rates.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Address client issues and complaints promptly to uphold trust and satisfaction.
- Provide management with regular updates on sales performance, client feedback, and market developments.
- Engage in ongoing education in insurance and sales practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance sector, particularly in commercial lines.
- Demonstrated experience as an Account Manager or similar role, showcasing strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in risk assessment, insurance underwriting, and account management.
- Thorough understanding of commercial insurance products and underwriting guidelines.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong negotiation and presentation capabilities.
- Proficient in analyzing sales performance metrics.
- Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant insurance certifications (CIC, CRM, CPCU) are advantageous.
