At OneMain Financial, the Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in fostering a work environment that enables exceptional customer experiences. This involves providing leadership and training to branch staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills to deliver top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive results-oriented sales and collections performance, meeting individual and branch goals while exceeding customer expectations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, guiding them through the loan process and lifecycle.
  • Present tailored financial solutions that cater to customers' needs, helping them achieve their goals.
  • Offer optional insurance products that meet customers' requirements.
  • Ensure customers have a clear understanding of loan terms and conditions.
  • Develop expertise in credit underwriting techniques and sales tools.
  • Manage the loan lifecycle, including closing loans, collections activities, and compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Provide training and coaching to Branch Team Members and assume interim leadership in Branch Manager absences.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of achieving business objectives.
  • Experience in financial services leadership.
  • Able to obtain insurance licensing within 6 months, if required by state.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
