Position Summary

The role of the Customer Service Representative is pivotal in maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction. This position involves providing assistance, guidance, and timely resolutions to customer inquiries and concerns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders received via electronic communication and phone calls.
  • Handle a significant volume of incoming inquiries promptly and efficiently.
  • Support customers with product inquiries, order placements, tracking, and issue resolution.
  • Effectively communicate order statuses and coordinate with production on backordered items.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
  • Enhance product knowledge to better assist customers and provide tailored solutions.
  • Utilize Salesforce for managing customer-related issues.
  • Verify that product loads and quantities align with purchase orders.
  • Assist the credit department by reviewing and retrieving necessary documentation.
  • Process credits for returns when applicable.
  • Organize and maintain records for audit purposes.
  • Implement daily operational fundamentals.
  • Be open to cross-training in various aspects of customer service.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned related to the role.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while responding to calls and entering orders.
  • Capable of reading and understanding simple instructions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with IOS Cloud and Salesforce is advantageous.
Work Environment
  • Frequent sitting and standing for extended periods are required.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions of the wrists, hands, and fingers for computer use.
  • Compliance with safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment.
  • Participants must provide their own safety footwear upon hiring.
