Job Overview

We are looking for an Insurance Client Support Specialist to be an integral part of our team at Hoya Insurance Agency Inc.

The Client Support Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a prompt and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to client inquiries through various communication channels including phone, fax, and email.
  • Welcome clients for in-person visits and assist with their needs.
  • Process new sales orders based on client purchase requests received via phone, fax, or email.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse client base.
  • Follow up on client inquiries to ensure satisfaction.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately.
  • Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer support role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Applications.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to finding solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of managing stressful situations, including customer complaints and high volumes of paperwork.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills over the phone, including active listening and appropriate tone.
  • Ability to adapt to various situations and personalities.
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a good grasp of numbers and data entry.
  • Bilingual capabilities in Spanish and English or Chinese and English are preferred.

This position encompasses the essential duties and responsibilities but may not cover every aspect of the role.

Job Type: Full Time or Part Time

Compensation: $14.50 - $25.00 per hour

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
