Job Title: Business Development Specialist

TID SYSTEMS is a family-owned and operated technology company based in Reno, Nevada. We're expanding our sales team to cover the smart automation and security markets for both commercial and residential sectors.

Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly motivated Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing relationships with commercial and residential builders, developers, and business owners to provide security and smart automation systems for their commercial locations and home buyers.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct sales visits within a designated territory to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
  • Research and prospect for sales opportunities using a combination of modern and traditional methods, including cold calling, canvassing, email campaigns, social media outreach, networking, and strategic alliances.
  • Execute all phases of the sales lifecycle, from identifying and qualifying opportunities to presenting solutions, closing sales, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Represent TID Systems with a high level of professionalism and build a network of industry relationships and connections.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions for scheduling and tracking purposes in our CRM.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of business-to-business (B2B) outside sales experience.
  • Knowledge of audio/visual technologies and equipment is a plus but not required.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage details and meet deadlines with accuracy.
  • Customer service-oriented approach.
  • Willingness and ability to become an expert in the field over time.
Working Conditions:
  • Occasional field travel may be required during the week.
  • Full-time position with Monday to Friday hours.

Compensation:

Base pay plus commissions and bonuses. Base pay depends on experience. Expected first-year earnings: $65,000-$100,000. No cap on commissions and protected territory.
