We're a family-owned and operated technology company based in Reno, seeking a talented Business Development Specialist to join our growing team. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for developing relationships with commercial and residential builders, developers, and business owners to provide security and smart automation systems for their locations and home buyers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sales visits within a protected territory to identify and qualify opportunities.
  • Research and prospect using modern and traditional methods, including cold calling, canvassing, email campaigns, social media outreach, and networking.
  • Execute on all phases of the sales lifecycle, from identifying opportunities to closing sales and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Represent TID Systems with professionalism and build a network of industry relationships and connections.
  • Log and maintain records of prospect interactions for scheduling and tracking purposes in our CRM.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of B2B outside sales experience.
  • Knowledge of audio/visual technologies and equipment is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage details and meet deadlines with accuracy.
  • Customer service-oriented approach.
  • Willingness to become an expert in the field over time.

Compensation: Base pay plus commissions and bonuses, with a base salary dependent on experience. Expected first-year earnings: $65,000-$100,000. No cap on commissions and protected territory. Work location: Office-based, not remote.
