As an Early Interventionist, you'll have the rewarding opportunity to directly contribute to the developmental growth of young children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role collaborates with a team of experts, including Board-Certified Behavior Analysts, Speech Therapists, and Occupational Therapists. This is an entry-level position, and we provide comprehensive training for this role.

This position is ideal for:

  • Recent college graduates seeking to launch their career: psychology graduates, special education graduates, child development majors, teaching degree holders, or similar
  • Individuals with childcare experience and a passion for working with children: childcare providers, paraprofessionals, nannies, babysitters, preschool teachers, daycare workers, Montessori teachers or assistants, tutors, substitute teachers, childcare volunteers, Sunday School teachers, or similar
  • Frontline healthcare workers looking for a career change: home health aides, behavioral health techs, psychiatric aides, child life specialists, or others
  • Encore career professionals: individuals seeking a fresh start in a mission-driven organization supporting children
Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one developmental and behavioral support to children aged 2-6 in a clinic environment, guided by science-backed, naturalistic therapeutic methods
  • Implement intervention plans created by expert clinicians in behavior analysis, speech, and occupational therapy
  • Collaborate with the child's healthcare professionals to deliver consistent, high-quality care
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with children aged 2-6, preferably in a professional capacity
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency with computers and tablets
  • Reliable transportation to both training location and local center; punctuality is essential
  • Ability to meet the following physical requirements: sit and stand frequently, shift positions quickly, lift up to 50 lbs., sit/kneel on the floor for extended periods, sit in a chair, stand, walk, and occasionally run short distances to catch up with a client
  • Preference for college graduates or individuals pursuing a college degree
