Job Title: Senior Child Welfare Investigations Manager
Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Child Welfare Investigations Manager to join our team at the Arizona Official Website of State of Arizona. As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in conducting high-profile, complex, and sensitive investigations related to allegations of child abuse and neglect.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough investigations into allegations of child abuse and neglect, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
- Provide on-the-job coaching, mentoring, and support to newly hired investigators, helping them develop the skills and expertise needed to conduct successful investigations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, policies, and procedures, ensuring that all investigations are conducted in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
- Develop and deliver training programs for investigators, covering topics such as interviewing techniques, evidence collection, and forensic analysis.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of all investigations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with other agencies and organizations to share best practices and improve the overall effectiveness of child welfare investigations.
- A minimum of 6 months experience as an OCWI Investigator, with a strong track record of successfully conducting complex investigations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, policies, and procedures related to child welfare and investigations.
- Valid Arizona driver's license and ability to travel as required.
