Child Development Psychologist Position at Phoenix Children's Hospital

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Child Development Psychologist to join our team at Phoenix Children's Hospital. As a key member of our Autism Program, you will provide diagnostic evaluations for youth with autism spectrum disorder and related conditions. Your exceptional clinical skills, experience in evidence-based interventions, and passion for working with children and families will make you an ideal fit for this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for youth with autism spectrum disorder and related conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide supervision to psychology graduate students, interns, and postdoctoral fellows
  • Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of pediatric psychology
Requirements:
  • PhD or PsyD in psychology from an APA-accredited program
  • APA-accredited internship in child psychology or a related field
  • Specialized training in autism diagnosis and evidence-based interventions
  • Experience working with children and families in a hospital or clinical setting
