We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Family Support Specialist to join our team at Child & Family Resources. This role plays a vital part in providing essential services to families with young children, helping them build a strong foundation for their child's success.

About the Role:
  • As an Early Childhood Family Support Specialist, you will work closely with families, conducting home visits, and delivering personalized support to meet their unique needs.
  • You will implement the Parents as Teachers model, fostering a collaborative relationship with families, and empowering them to become active participants in their child's development.
  • Your expertise will guide families in creating a nurturing environment, promoting healthy habits, and encouraging social-emotional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct thorough assessments to identify family needs and develop personalized plans for support.
  2. Deliver high-quality home visits, using the PAT curriculum to engage families and promote meaningful interactions.
  3. Maintain accurate records, tracking progress and adjusting support plans as needed.
  4. Cultivate partnerships with community resources, connecting families with essential services and opportunities.
  5. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on best practices and research-based methods.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Family Studies, or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience working with young children and their families, preferably in a home visiting or early childhood education setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse families.
  • Knowledge of child development principles, including cognitive, social-emotional, and physical growth.
  • Familiarity with the Arizona Early Intervention Program (AzEIP) and Parents as Teachers (PAT) model is highly desirable.
