We are seeking a highly skilled and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at the DoubleTree by Hilton Albuquerque hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming smile, using positive and clear communication to ensure a seamless check-in experience.
- Process guest registrations, including inputting and retrieving information from our computer system, and confirming details such as room rate and number of guests.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Operate the front desk, handling cash, making change, and balancing the house bank, as well as processing payments and posting charges to guest rooms.
- Answer phone calls, input messages into the computer, and retrieve mail, small packages, and faxes for guests as requested.
- Close guest accounts at check-out, ensuring a smooth and efficient process, and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
- Ability to stand and move throughout the front office, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
- Proficiency in using a computer system, with the ability to accurately input and retrieve information.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
