Front Desk Representative

Aveda Institute New Mexico is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Advisor. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences, facilitating growth and productivity within the Institute, and supporting our cosmetology and esthiology students.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Greet guests upon arrival and determine their needs
* Offer guests a beverage and a ritual if they are waiting for a service provider
* Provide education regarding Aveda products
* Participate in Institute events and community events
* Maintain benchmarks and monthly sales goals
* Provide support to service providers by checking guests in and out
* Communicate schedule changes to service providers, instructors, and guests as needed
* Be knowledgeable of the Aveda Service Wheel and follow through to the end with each guest
* Attend all meetings to stay informed about new products, services, and strategies for growth
* Ensure the Institute is clean and product is stocked
**Requirements:**
* Passionate about nurturing others in alignment with the Aveda Institute New Mexico mission and the Aveda mission
* Previous retail experience, specifically in the beauty industry, is a plus
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
* Ability to work retail hours, including weekends, holidays, and special events
* Demonstrated experience with computers
