Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Front Desk Hospitality Representative to join our team at Spire Hospitality. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests with a warm and sincere welcome, setting the tone for a positive stay.
  • Use a positive and clear speaking voice to communicate with guests, responding to their requests and providing accurate information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
  • Complete the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from our computer system, confirming pertinent details such as guest count and room rate.
  • Handle cash, make change, and balance an assigned house bank, ensuring accurate financial transactions.
  • Promptly answer phone calls using positive and clear English communication, inputting messages into the computer and retrieving messages to communicate with guests.
  • Close guest accounts at check-out, ensuring satisfaction and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Field guest complaints, conducting thorough research to develop effective solutions and resolve complications.
  • Provide safety deposit boxes for guests, escorting them to the vault room and assisting with lock opening.
  • Notify guests of incoming faxes using the message function of the computer.
Requirements
  • Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, requiring high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger and resolve conflicts.
  • Ability to stand and move throughout the front office, continuously performing essential job functions.
  • Ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
  • Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
