Unit Overview:

Sodexo is looking for a Full-Time Clinical Nutrition Specialist I-HC to become part of a vibrant team within a reputable health system. This facility has been recognized for its excellence in patient care and is known for its commitment to quality.

This role will primarily involve working with adult patients, with opportunities to support various units including ICU, Intermediate Care, Telemetry, Medicine, and Rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Registered Dietitian
  • Possess 0-3 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrate familiarity with the Nutrition Care Process
  • Utilize electronic health records effectively
  • Show a keen interest in nutrition support
  • Exhibit outstanding communication and customer service skills
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Participate in weekend rotations
  • Mentor dietetic interns
  • Obtain licensure in Louisiana as required

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Preferred 1 year of work experience
  • Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills
  • Proven proactive engagement with the medical team
  • Registered Dietitian credentials and Louisiana licensure (required prior to employment)

Compensation:

Sodexo ensures fair and equitable compensation, influenced by a candidate's educational background and relevant experience. While the salary range for this position is established, final offers are tailored based on individual qualifications, skills, and training.

Qualifications:

Education: Master’s degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as mandated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor’s degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by ACEND.

Credentials: Must meet eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and achieve registration within 120 days of hire. State certification/licensure may be required at the time of hire depending on the location.
