Key Responsibilities- Customer Service Functions
- Respond to all incoming calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Schedule medical and dental appointments, ensuring seamless coordination with our clinical teams.
- Follow up on missed appointments, maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction.
- Manage the Dental Recall List, ensuring timely reminders and notifications.
- Notify patients of outstanding balances, promoting timely payments.
- Route non-clinical calls to relevant staff members, taking messages and forwarding them via our internal communication system.
- Retrieve appointments and messages from our patient portal on a daily basis.
- Complete patient registration for medical and dental patients, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Verify patient insurance coverage, ensuring seamless billing and payment processes.
- Collect co-pays, deductibles, and fees, maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction.
- Prepare for the next day's schedule, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are mandatory.
- Ability to communicate in different languages is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on patient satisfaction.
- Ability to type 40 wpm is highly desirable.
