Front Desk Supervisor - Denver, Colorado

Overview:

As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing front office operations to guarantee exceptional service for our guests. Your role includes managing the front desk team, addressing customer inquiries and concerns, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise front desk operations to ensure outstanding guest service
  • Train and mentor front desk staff
  • Promptly address and resolve customer issues
  • Efficiently manage check-in and check-out procedures
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain precise records
  • Promote hotel services and drive revenue through suggestive selling techniques
  • Stay informed about hotel events and local attractions to assist guests effectively

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of hotel front office operations
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Leadership and management capabilities
  • Proficient in computer systems and cash handling

Physical Demands:

  • Effective communication skills, both in-person and over the phone
  • Ability to manage reports and utilize computer systems
  • Continuous standing and guest interaction
  • No driving responsibilities required
  • Ability to lift, push, and carry guest luggage as necessary

Environment:

This position is primarily based in a climate-controlled indoor setting, with occasional outdoor tasks. The role involves standing and engaging with guests, without the need for driving.
