Position Overview:

We are looking for enthusiastic and empathetic individuals to serve as Customer Service Agents. In this role, you will be responsible for reaching out to blood donors and coordinating appointments in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your efforts will directly contribute to our mission of saving lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with blood donors via telephone to encourage participation in blood donation drives.
  • Utilize multiple computer systems to manage donor information and update records accurately.
  • Schedule appointments while ensuring a positive experience for donors to enhance participation rates.
  • Adhere to established scripts and processes to maintain consistency in donor interactions.
  • Meet daily performance standards, including call volume and appointment scheduling.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of donor eligibility criteria to assist donors effectively.
  • Maintain precise records of outreach efforts and scheduled appointments to ensure efficient operations.
  • Support community initiatives to promote a positive image of the American Red Cross.
Position Requirements:
  • Commitment to 90 days of uninterrupted employment with 100% attendance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of experience in customer service, telemarketing, or call center roles.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple computer applications in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to handle challenging customer interactions.
  • Interest in advocating for blood donation and a desire for professional growth.
