Veteran Affairs Physician Role. As a highly sought-after VA physician, you will commence your career with the utmost available leave benefits, offering 49 days of paid time off annually.
Enjoy paid vacation, unlimited accrued sick leave, and 11 federal holidays from the start.

The physician will oversee the evaluation and treatment of both new and returning patients facing a variety of medical conditions (such as hypertension, diabetes, ischemic heart disease, COPD, depression, and chronic pain).

Care may be provided through in-person consultations, telehealth, or video appointments, with occasional travel to various medical centers or Community Based Outreach Clinics (CBOC) as needed.

Your responsibilities will include ordering diagnostic tests, consultations, medications, and other necessary treatments, while also addressing preventative health maintenance requirements and completing all mandated VA documentation, including clinical reminders and screenings, promptly.

You may provide care through in-person visits, telemedicine, or VA-approved video modalities, perform preliminary interpretations of ECG and radiographic studies, and mentor residents, fellows, and trainees.

This position is not remote.
