Your primary responsibilities will include evaluating and managing both new and returning patients with a variety of medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, ischemic heart disease, COPD, depression, and chronic pain.
Care delivery may occur through in-person consultations, telehealth, or video visits, with occasional travel to various medical centers or outreach clinics as needed.You will be tasked with ordering necessary diagnostics, consultations, medications, and therapies, while also ensuring preventative health measures are met. Timely completion of all required documentation within the VA system is essential.
Your designated work location will be part of the VA Northern California Health Care System.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations, including history and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat adult patients with medical conditions in a clinical setting.
- Utilize telehealth and approved video modalities for patient care.
- Perform diagnostic procedures such as joint aspirations, soft tissue injections, and routine women's health examinations.
- Supervise residents and fellows during their training.
This position does not offer remote work options.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
